In Florida, how much does a Public Adjuster charge?

Q&A

In #Florida, a Public Adjuster has to be licensed and bonded. We are regulated by the Department of Financial Services

We charge 10% of the recovery for claims under a State of Emergency (usually #hurricanes or #storms, for example Tropical Storm Eta from November 2020) but only for the 1st year after the date of the event, after that is 20% fee of the recovery.

For any other claim, such as water, fire, burglary, lightning, we are allowed to charge 20% of the recovery.
